Step 5. Mapping services to Schedule by Provider or Operatory Video

1. Once Providers and Operatories have been set up, from the company Page, click on the Gear Icon and select Configuration.

2. From the drop-down, select either Provider or Operatory. This will determine how the Scheduler displays availability. Also select the flow type for the patient data entry and choose if you would like to enable the nearest location suggestion.

  • Operatory schedule choose this option if you want Jarvis to look for availability of the mapped operatory columns set in the 'Map Operatories' option. (This is the most common method used)
  • Provider schedule choose this option if you want Jarvis to look for availability of the selected provider(s) via “Set Provider” option.
  • Open Dental Block Scheduling choose this option if you want Jarvis to look for availability based on scheduling blocks or watermarks. Please note, this function is only available for Open Dental. See “Optional Step: Setting Up Block Scheduling (Open Dental Only)”
  • Perfect Day Scheduling choose this option if you want Jarvis to look for availability based on scheduling blocks or watermarks that are setup in Perfect Day Scheduling. Please note, this function is only available for Dentrix. See “Optional Step: Setting Up Block Scheduling or Perfect Day Scheduling”
  • Ascend Scheduling Templates choose this option if you want Jarvis to look for availability based on scheduling templates or watermarks. Please note, this functionality is only available for Dentrix Ascend. See “Optional Step: Setting Up Ascend Scheduling Templates (Dentrix Ascend Only)”
  • Ascend Booking Types choose this option if you want Jarvis to look for availability based on Booking Types. Please note, this functionality is only available for Dentrix Ascend. See “Optional Step: Setting Up Ascend Booking Types (Dentrix Ascend Only)”

3. Select Save.
