Overview

Did you know that you can create custom lists that display whatever combination of procedure code you want? This is the Favorite Lists feature. The Favorite Lists feature is available in two locations.

In Jarvis Solo: Dashboard Module > Metrics tab > Services Table

In Jarvis Enterpise: Operations Module > Services tab > Services Table

It is perfect for keeping an eye on the count and production associated with different procedures and tracking how these numbers change over time. Each favorite list is saved to your individual user account in Jarvis, so you can personalize your favorite lists and they will be there waiting for you when you log back in. Finally, this feature saves time on the reports/lists that need to be pulled regularly by allowing multiple codes to be selected together without having to add them every time you want to track your progress.

Why use Lists to Track Procedure Codes?

  1. Financial Management:
    • Revenue Analysis: Tracking specific procedure codes allows your practice to analyze the revenue generated from various services. This insight helps identify high-revenue procedures, enabling you to focus on promoting these services or improving less profitable ones.
    • Cost Management: Understanding the frequency and types of procedures performed aids in managing associated costs. By keeping an eye on expenses related to supplies, equipment, and labor, your practice can maintain profitability while delivering necessary services.
  2. Operational Efficiency:
    • Resource Allocation: Monitoring the volume of specific procedures ensures efficient resource allocation. For instance, if periodontal procedures are frequently performed, more time and personnel can be dedicated to these services, enhancing overall productivity.
    • Inventory Management: Keeping track of products sold and used in procedures helps manage inventory effectively. This ensures that your practice always has the necessary supplies without overstocking, reducing waste and cost.
  3. Compliance and Reporting: (medicaid compliance reporting)
    • Regulatory Compliance: Detailed records of procedures help your practice comply with regulatory requirements and audits, adhering to industry standards.
  4. Marketing and Business Development:
    • Targeted Marketing: Understanding which services are most popular or profitable enables your practice to create targeted marketing campaigns, attracting more patients to specific services.
    • Service Expansion: Tracking trends helps identify opportunities for expanding services, such as adding new treatments or technologies in demand.
  5. Performance Tracking and Provider Evaluation:
    • Individual Performance Metrics: Tracking the completion of specific procedure codes by each provider helps evaluate individual performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
    • Productivity Analysis: Monitoring the number and types of procedures completed by each provider highlights productivity levels, enabling recognition of high performers and provision of support or training where needed.
    • Incentive Programs: Procedure completion data can be used to design incentive programs, rewarding providers who meet or exceed performance targets, boosting morale and motivation.
    • Skill Development: Understanding which procedures are performed more or less frequently by each provider helps tailor continuing education and training programs, ensuring all staff members are proficient in a broad range of procedures.
    • Patient Allocation: Tracking provider-specific data aids in allocating patients based on provider strengths and specialties, ensuring optimal care.
    • Benchmarking and Goal Setting: Reviewing procedure completion data regularly allows setting realistic performance benchmarks and goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
